Paulina Speckmaier Represents Venezuelan Soccer
Prep senior, Paulina Speckmaier, has been selected by the Venezuelan Futbol Federation to play soccer as a part of Venezuela’s national team in the South American U-20 (under twenty years of age) Women’s Championship. From this tournament only two national teams will qualify for slots in the next FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The South American championship is being held in Curitiba, Brazil, from January 20th through February 5th. Next fall Paulina will be attending the University of Florida representing the Gators as a student athlete both on the soccer field and in the classroom. Congratulations and good luck Paulina!
